The Datsun 240z and 260z were equipped with Hitachi, SU Type, carburetors. The 1972 Datsun 240z carbs had warm coolant water running through them to help atomize the gas in colder climates. The 280z was equipped with electronic fuel injection system, completely changing the Intake manifold design. There were 2 EFI intake manifolds, noticeable difference is the webbing between chambers to reinforce the structure.
